The Mission
The Actual Lounge is an lounge series dedicated to celebrating, honoring, and protecting Black queer artistry. Through intentional gatherings rooted in music, culture, and community, we create space for artists, musicians, creatives, and music lovers to connect, be inspired, and experience the transformative power of music. Grounded in the belief that Black queer women and their creativity deserve to be centered, supported, and preserved, The Actual Lounge cultivates meaningful experiences that foster discovery, conversation, and belonging.

The Founder
Tonii is an artist, community curator who builds connection through art, music, and intentional space-making. With experience in communications, event production, and community organizing, she creates impactful work across Los Angeles that centers Black queer creativity, wellness, and expression.
